SLLF UK at the Sinhala & Tamil New Year Festival in Wales

On the 6th of March 2025, the Sri Lankan community in Wales came together in beautiful unity to celebrate the Sinhala & Tamil New Year Festival — a day full of colour, culture, and community spirit.

We, members of SLLF UK, were honoured to take part in the festivities, not just to enjoy the celebration, but to raise awareness about SLLF UK work and gather support for our cause.

Through kind conversations, generous donations, sponsorships, and advertisement pledges, we were able to gain incredible support for our upcoming Annual Fundraising Dinner Dance this June — all in aid of Apeksha Cancer Hospital Sri Lanka.

We are truly grateful to everyone who stopped by, supported us, and joined hands in our mission to make a difference.
