PROJECT 1

SLLF(UK) donated a completely refurnished air conditioned computer lab with 10 new computers, a laptop and a printer to NCI for research and development by the medical staff.

Cost Rs.1.7million (£8000)

PROJECT 2

SLLF(UK) paid for the construction of a permanent roof over the access ramp that connects the children's ward to part of the main hospital. Completed in June 2014. Cost Rs.1.0million (£5000)

PROJECT 3

​

​In 2015 SLLF(UK) received an urgent request from the management of National Cancer Institute (NCI) Maharagama funding for Infusion Pumps for the children's ward. In July 2015 at a small ceremony we handed over 3 pumps.

PROJECT 4

In November 2015 SLLF(UK) funded the purchase of a new Transducer Ultrasound Scanner and some essential medical equipment for the Paediatric IUC at NCI. Cost Rs. 800,000  (£4000)

PROJECT in January 2017

​SLLF(UK) donated £8500 for the refurbishment and addition of a new suite to the endoscopy unit

FUTURE PROJECT 2

​

​After the completion of Razavi Medical Complex in September 2016 the Ministry of Health and the Management of NCI with Ahmad Tea London is planning to build the 2nd phase - Suwapeksha Complex and has indicated the need for substantial funding from all well wishers. SLLF(UK) would plan several fund rasing events to fund the complex.
